Job description
SALEM AUTOMECH is hiring a detail-oriented Accountant for a full-time, on-site role in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. In this position, you will support the company’s financial health through accurate reporting, sound accounting practices, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly.
- Assist with budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Operations, Sales, and other departments to gather financial data and support projects.
- Support the annual audit and prepare required documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with financial software and accounting tools.
- At least 2 years of accounting or financial management experience preferred.
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
