Benefits

• Job or training locations, dates, and any bonuses for the selected list of jobs are in your contract before you enlist.
• Tuition assistance is paid by the Army directly to school: $250 per credit / $4000 per year, available after your first year of serving; $16,000 over 4 years of college.
• Post-9/11 GI Bill: 100% entitlement at 36 months of Service. Tuition and fees are paid directly to school, up to $21,970.46 per year. Monthly Housing Allowance up to $1,449.00, paid to you directly. Annual student aid up to $1,000 and scholarships.
• Cash enlistment bonus up to $50,000, paid over term of enlistment.
• Monthly pay listed: E-1 $2,407.20; E-2 $2,697.90; E-3 $2,836.80; E-4 $3,142.20.
• Free medical and dental, free housing and meals, and 30 days vacation per year with pay.
• Rapid advancement, college credits (applies to Reserve), stop tax free, and veteran preference.

Military specialties include administrative support, medical technicians, mechanical specialists, computers and technology, legal and law enforcement, transportation and aviation, engineering and construction, arts and media, Army bands, combat arms, airborne, Ranger, and Special Forces.
