LMS Direct continues to grow through long-term partnerships with businesses that value on-time performance, direct communication, and dependable service.Role Description The Administrative Assistant role at LMS Direct is a contract, on-site position based in Denver, NC. This role supports daily office operations by handling general administrative and clerical tasks such as organizing documents, managing data entry, and maintaining records. The Administrative Assistant responds to phone and email inquiries, routes calls, and provides timely information to drivers, clients, and internal team members. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, assisting with logistics-related paperwork, preparing basic reports, and supporting leadership with executive administrative tasks as needed. The role requires strong attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and a professional, service-oriented approach to internal and external communication.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage records, documentation, and daily office tasks efficiently.Candidates should possess effective Communication and Phone Etiquette skills to handle calls, emails, and client interactions professionally.Candidates should possess Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities to support leadership with scheduling, correspondence, and coordination activities.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment.Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and basic databases).High level of reliability, integrity, and accountability in handling sensitive information and client communication.Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related office setting is beneficial but not required.High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training or certification is a plus.
