Job description
Tasks
- Lead the admissions process from referral to a warm welcome on the unit
- Build and grow relationships with hospital case managers, physicians and community partners
- Respond quickly and accurately to referrals, with clinical and insurance review
- Guide families with compassion through one of life's toughest moments
- Partner with clinical and business office teams to keep census strong
Requirements
- Skilled nursing admissions or clinical liaison experience
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid (MassHealth) and managed care
- A relationship builder with a strong Boston hospital network
- Organized, responsive and calm under pressure
