Aluminum Tack Welders

About the role

Lyneer is hiring aluminum tack welders to perform tack welds on aluminum cable ladder components. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with training opportunities, overtime when available, and career growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Perform tack welds on aluminum cable ladder components.
• Align, fit, and position materials.
• Read and follow work instructions and assembly drawings.
• Inspect parts for proper fit and quality.
• Use measuring tools, including tape measures and gauges.
• Operate hand tools and fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous welding, manufacturing, construction, or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of welding principles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read hand tools and measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift in the future as part of temporary-to-hire.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required PPE includes steel-toe boots, safety glasses, welding helmet and gloves, and hearing protection and ear pads required per job role.
