Area Sales Manager

About the role

Develop business across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.

Introduces a contractual medical service to general practitioners, internists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, and infectious disease physicians.

Tasks

• Consultative, physician-focused sale with a three-to-six-month sales cycle.
• A Business Development Representative working alongside you to generate leads.

Requirements

• 10+ years of medical sales experience
• 5+ years of proven consultative sales success with physicians, hospitals, or laboratories
• Primary care physician call experience required; experience within the last several years highly preferred
• Capital equipment or complex sales experience highly preferred
• Strong new business development skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to challenge customer thinking, differentiate the offering, and advance decisions while maintaining respected relationships
• Financial acumen to present a data-driven value proposition
• Strong interpersonal presence, empathy, organizational skills, and ability to work closely with management
• Stable employment history
• Reside in the greater Denver, Phoenix, or Salt Lake City area
• Ability to travel approximately 50% and participate in after-hours business development activities
• College Degree required

Pay

• Base Salary: $120k-$130k
• Total Compensation at Plan: $180k-$225k
