Assistant Accounting Manager

Prins Accountants SAIPA: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTING MANAGER Christo Prins Accountants, based in Paarl, is looking to appoint an Assistant Accounting Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support managers in overseeing clerks and keeping deadlines on track - Supervise, monitor and review clerks' work; includes monthy processing, VAT returns, management statements, financial statements and income tax calculations - Help compile and deliver training material to clerks - Act as the main point of contact for client communication - Process client information and manage their tax and financial affairs - Assist with client matters and resolve queries, including those with SARS REQUIREMENTS: - BCom in Accounting or an equivalent qualification - SAIPA-accredited qualification or professional affiliation - At least 3 years' experience in an accounting or audit practice - Advanced Excel skills (required) - Experience with SARS eFiling, Sage Online and Draftworx (advantageous) - Detail-oriented and strong organisational skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability - Fluent communication in Afrikaans and English HOW TO APPLY: SEND YOUR CV TO: Subject line: Assistant Accounting Manager
