Logistics Operations Manager in Bloemfontein, Free State

Shaun Van Niekerk is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa. In this position, you will manage day-to-day logistics operations and help deliver efficient, reliable service across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, shipping, receiving, and other daily logistics activities.
• Coordinate with supply chain partners to support on-time deliveries and efficient route planning.
• Track operational metrics, identify opportunities, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Implement and enforce safety and compliance procedures across logistics operations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to maintain clear communication and smooth workflows.
• Prepare and present operational reports and performance metrics to management.
• Supervise logistics personnel and provide guidance and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical certification in logistics or supply chain management.
• At least five years of experience in logistics or a related field, with a focus on operational management.
• Strong problem-solving and operational thinking skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with logistics and supply chain software tools.
