Assistant Manager Cybersecurity IT Operations - YAVU Collective

YAVU Collective is growing, and we’re looking for a driven and technically skilled Assistant Manager – Cybersecurity & IT Operations to join our Technology team and support our expanding portfolio of hospitality properties. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to play a key role in maintaining secure, reliable and efficient technology operations across a dynamic multi-program environment, supporting the cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, systems and technology operations of Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, TRIBE - Na Vom, The Sebel, Sofitel Fiji, Vatu Tairi Resort and other properties within the YAVU Collective portfolio. YOUR PROFILE The role will support the day-to-day technology operations across the YAVU Collective portfolio, ensuring IT systems remain secure, reliable and efficient. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Support the management and day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure and technology systems across YAVU Collective properties. Identify, investigate and respond to cybersecurity threats, incidents and vulnerabilities. Support network, server, hardware, software and system administration. Conduct regular system monitoring, security checks and risk assessments. Coordinate IT projects, system upgrades, installations and technology rollouts. Work with internal departments and external technology vendors to resolve technical issues. Ensure IT operations align with organizational policies, security standards and operational requirements. SKILLS & GUIDELINES Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field. Relevant experience in IT operations, infrastructure and/or cybersecurity. Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an IT environment. Strong knowledge of networking, servers, operating systems and IT security. Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, data protection practices, and experience with troubleshooting, system monitoring and incident response.
