About the role
Lauren Hathcote is seeking an Assistant Rural Carrier to deliver packages on Sundays and USPS-observed holidays. This is a part-time, non-career position, with optional additional work available.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages on Sundays and USPS-observed holidays.
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Perform duties involving moderate to heavy lifting, carrying, prolonged standing, reaching, and walking.
Requirements
- Have a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Have at least two years of unsupervised passenger-vehicle driving experience.
- Complete training that includes driving from the right side and operating postal vehicles.
- A suitable personal vehicle may be required if USPS does not assign one; additional compensation applies in this case.
