Job description

Telecom Technicians Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, warehouse management experience, and a commitment to maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment. This position supports daily warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and supervision of warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities
• Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations and staff activities.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials utilizing the WASP inventory management system. Leverage integrated software and hardware solutions to maintain inventory accuracy, streamline order processing, automate warehouse operations, and ensure efficient tracking of materials throughout the supply chain.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Assist with scheduling and supervising warehouse employees.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with field technicians, project managers, and vendors to ensure material availability.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in achieving operational goals and performance metrics.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience.
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties.
• High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
