Position Overview

Are you an experienced litigator ready to take ownership of complex plaintiff-side litigation matters? We seek an Associate Attorney with strong litigation skills, a genuine commitment to advocacy for plaintiffs, and the drive to assume substantive responsibility from day one. Candidates from BigLaw complex commercial litigation, federal clerkships, government service, or civil rights backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage federal and state court cases including drafting complaints, petitions, demand letters, and engaging in motion practice at trial and appellate levels.
• Conduct and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses; assist with trial and oral argument preparation.
• Handle offensive and defensive discovery in complex, multi-party, and class action litigation.
• Evaluate and develop new case intakes, including client interviews and litigation theory formulation.
• Coordinate litigation efforts with co-counsel, clients, and advocacy organizations.
• Maintain proactive and responsive client communication throughout the litigation process.
• Contribute to a team culture emphasizing precision, intellectual rigor, and mission-driven advocacy.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrated experience in complex litigation and plaintiff-side advocacy preferred.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex cases and collaborate effectively.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000+ base salary per year
