Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee audit engagements from initial planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to the firm’s audit methodology and timelines. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards and UAE VAT regulations, guaranteeing accuracy and regulatory conformity. Lead and develop audit teams by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior auditors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Identify and assess financial and operational risks, designing audit plans that effectively mitigate potential issues and enhance client controls. Communicate audit findings and actionable recommendations clearly to clients, supporting process improvements and strengthening internal controls. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure firm-wide compliance and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline audit processes and improve service delivery efficiency. What We're Looking For Required: CA or CA Inter qualification is mandatory. Minimum of 5 years’ audit experience, preferably within a reputable audit firm in the UAE or international markets. Strong proficiency in IFRS and UAE VAT regulations. Experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, and audit software tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred: Familiarity with UAE local regulations and financial services industry standards. Advanced knowledge of accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
