Key Responsibilities Lead and manage comprehensive audit engagements from initial planning through to final completion, ensuring strict adherence to IFRS and UAE VAT regulations. Review financial statements and audit documentation meticulously to provide constructive feedback and ensure accuracy and compliance. Identify and assess financial and operational risks, delivering actionable recommendations to enhance internal controls and compliance frameworks. Maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and ensuring a smooth, transparent audit process. Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management and stakeholders, summarizing key findings and advising on risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm to ensure integrated audit approaches and knowledge sharing. Mentor junior audit staff, promoting continuous learning, professional development, and adherence to best practices. What We're Looking For Required: CA or CA Inter qualification is mandatory. Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, preferably gained at a Big Four accounting firm. In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards, UAE VAT laws, and relevant auditing regulations. Proficiency with audit software and ERP systems to enhance audit efficiency. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client and team interactions. Preferred: Experience working within the UAE market and familiarity with local business practices.
