Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee internal and external audit engagements ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Develop comprehensive audit plans and strategies that effectively identify financial risks and control weaknesses. Manage a team of auditors by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to enhance team capabilities and productivity. Analyze financial statements and audit findings to deliver clear, actionable reports to senior management and stakeholders. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely resolution of audit issues and implementation of recommendations. Utilize advanced accounting and audit software tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, and CaseWare to streamline audit processes and improve accuracy. Monitor changes in accounting regulations and auditing standards to maintain compliance and update audit methodologies accordingly. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required or highly preferred. At least 5–7 years of progressive auditing experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal controls. Proficiency in MS Office and audit/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, CaseWare). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities. Amenable to working on-site in San Juan City. Preferred: Experience in risk management and financial reporting. Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on coaching and development. Familiarity with local and international audit regulations.
