Auto Claims Adjuster

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Auto Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex auto claims.

Tasks

• Manage auto claims from initial investigation through final resolution.
• Investigate coverage, liability, comparative negligence, and vehicle damage.
• Evaluate and negotiate first- and third-party claims, including total loss settlements.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and manage assigned claim inventory.
• Deliver excellent customer service while handling complex claim situations.
• Collaborate with appraisers, managers, and other claims professionals.
• Support catastrophe response.

Requirements

• US Citizens / Green Card Holders Only
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of recent auto claims adjusting experience.
• Experience handling auto physical damage and auto liability claims.
• Knowledge of coverage investigations, disputed liability, and comparative negligence.
• Ability to independently manage claims from investigation to resolution.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required adjuster licensing within 90 days, with up to three attempts.
• Preferred: 4+ years of auto claims adjusting experience.
• Total loss evaluation, vehicle valuation, and settlement negotiation experience.
• Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter.
• Active adjuster license or multiple state licenses.
• Mentoring or coaching experience; bachelor's degree is a plus.

Schedule

• 4-Month Contract-to-Hire
• Onsite for the first 3–4 months; hybrid after full-time conversion
• The first 3–4 months will be onsite at the Phoenix campus for hands-on training and coaching
• Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call work.
