Azure Cloud Security Consultant

About the role

Design, implement, and govern security controls across enterprise Azure environments.

Requirements

• 5+ Years in IT, including 3+ Years in Azure Cloud Security
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Protection
• Azure RBAC, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), access reviews, and least-privilege governance
• Azure Policy, security baselines, governance guardrails, and cloud security controls
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Wiz Security Platform for cloud security posture management and vulnerability remediation
• Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring, analytics, threat detection, dashboards, and automation
• Vulnerability management, incident investigation, risk assessment, and security remediation
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and cloud security governance
• Experience with enterprise cloud operations or managed services environments
• Knowledge of security compliance, audit support, and continuous security improvement
• Preferred: PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Preferred: Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Preferred: Azure-native security automation
• Preferred certification: AZ-500 – Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Preferred certification: SC-200 – Security Operations Analyst
• Preferred certification: SC-300 – Identity and Access Administrator
• Preferred certification: AZ-104 – Azure Administrator

Schedule

• Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite at the client office
• Duration: 6 Months
