Bench Carpenter/Custom Cabinetmaker

We are a local family-owned small business.

We have a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of Mesa, AZ where we design, fabricate and assemble all of our products.

Tasks

• Read and interpret shop drawings accurately
• Cut & build cabinet components to meet design specs
• Operate shop machinery: table saw, edge bander, routers, jointer and more
• Maintain tight tolerances and verify measurements, fit, and alignment.
• Work independently from shop drawings to meet production deadlines
• Maintain a clean shop
• Collaborate with other areas: assembly, finish and installs

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building custom (not stock) cabinetry
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, elevations and plans
• Proficient with common shop tools (table saws, edge bander, routers, etc.)
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy cabinets safely (often with a helper)
• Must be able to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Commitment to protecting finished materials and delivering a polished final product
