Business Intelligence Accountant

Sparta Foods (Pty) Ltd seeks a Business Intelligence Accountant at our Welkom offices to deliver data-driven insights and to commence duties as soon as possible.

REQUIREMENTS
Strong communication skills
• A great interest in data and BI/Reporting
• B degree in Cost/Financial Accounting or related field
• CIMA or CA (SA) qualification will be advantageous
• 3+ years’ experience in Bi reporting, financial analysis, or a similar role
• Experience in SQL management studio is essential
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Jet Reports or similar
• Advanced Excel skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply accounting standards and principles in all reporting activities
• Collaborate with departments to understand reporting needs
• Enable accurate data capturing at source and drive data consistency
• Analyse financial and operational data to provide insights that drive decision-making
• Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards using various reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Jet Reports, SQL, Excel)
• Continuously improve reporting processes and tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business
• Conduct detailed costing analysis, performance evaluation, and departmental assessments
