Job description
raihan noor is hiring a compassionate Care Home Support Worker for twilight shifts at our care home located in Weymouth, Dorset, UK. Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Assist residents with mobility and movement safely.
- Administer medication as per care plans and health guidelines.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to improve quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to senior staff.
- Maintain accurate records of care and observations.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to implement individualized care plans.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care is mandatory.
- Experience in elderly care or related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
- Compassionate and supportive attitude towards residents.
- Basic knowledge of care management software is advantageous.
- At least 1 year of experience in a care setting is desirable.
