Key Responsibilities

• Process cash transactions accurately, including payments and issuing receipts.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to improve customer experience.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide friendly support throughout their shopping.
• Ensure cash drawers are balanced at the start and end of each shift.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth cash register operations.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and customer service best practices.
• Contribute to team goals and uphold high customer satisfaction standards.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate or equivalent education.
• Experience in cash handling or retail preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
• 1-2 years of cashier experience desirable.
