About the role
Duquesne Light Company provides electric energy to more than half a million customers in southwestern Pennsylvania. The Category Manager II develops and executes sourcing plans for assigned categories, with a focus on IT and Shared Services. The role supports cross-functional sourcing and contracting activities to address internal stakeholder and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and manage multi-year category sourcing strategies to generate value for the company.
- Lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams that include end-user representation.
- Analyze spend data and identify opportunities to increase spend with diverse suppliers, including local and regional suppliers.
