A dedicated Joliet-area operation is hiring drivers to move 53' dry van trailers between distribution centers, overflow yards and nearby logistics facilities throughout the Chicago freight corridor.

💰 $1,300–$1,500 WEEKLY
💵 $28–$30/HR + 1.5X OT AFTER 40

🚛 WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Keep trailers moving between major warehouse locations in the Joliet–Elwood–Romeoville–Plainfield–Bolingbrook area.

Typical shifts include 5–8 short trailer moves, including loaded deliveries, empty returns and trailer exchanges.

Common corridors include:

📍 Joliet → Elwood
📍 Joliet → Romeoville
📍 Joliet → Bolingbrook
📍 Joliet → Plainfield
📍 Occasional runs toward Channahon, Lockport or Bedford Park

Most work is drop-and-hook or trailer exchange, with some live loading/unloading depending on the facility.

📋 REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid CDL-A
• 6+ months recent tractor-trailer experience preferred
• Recent CDL graduates may be considered
• Current DOT medical card
• Acceptable MVR & employment history
• Able to safely maneuver 53' trailers in warehouse yards
• Minimum age 21
• Good communication with dispatch and warehouse personnel

⚠️ LOCAL DOESN'T MEAN ZERO DELAYS: warehouse gate queues, dock congestion, Chicago-area traffic and winter weather can affect the schedule. Retail peaks may also create additional overtime and weekend coverage.
