CDL Class A OTR Driver

Key Responsibilities Operate and drive a Class A commercial vehicle in a safe manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining schedule compliance. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery activities, in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues on the road. Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that proper handling procedures are followed. Participate in regular training and meetings to stay updated on company policies and regulations. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred. Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation compliance regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong problem-solving skills, able to adapt to changing situations.
