The Southern Touch Home Care is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Hospice Care in Augusta, GA. This part-time role offers the opportunity to provide essential support to patients with life-limiting illnesses, enhancing their comfort and quality of life in a caring environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene to maintain patient dignity and comfort.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Record and report patient vital signs promptly to nursing staff.
• Mobility Assistance: Safely help patients transfer and move between positions and locations.
• Patient & Family Support: Communicate care plans clearly and address questions or concerns compassionately.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain detailed and timely patient care records.
• Environment Maintenance: Ensure a clean, safe space and assist with light household tasks as needed.
• Emotional Support: Provide empathetic communication to support patients and families emotionally and psychologically.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• Proven compassion and dedication to quality patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred but not mandatory.
