Job description
The Southern Touch Home Care is hiring a compassionate, licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time hospice care position in Augusta, Georgia. Help patients living with life-limiting illnesses maintain comfort and quality of life while supporting their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report changes to nursing staff.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning.
- Communicate with patients and families about care plans and respond to their needs.
- Document care accurately and promptly in patient records.
- Help maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with household tasks.
- Offer compassionate communication and emotional support to patients and family members.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members on individualized care plans.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
