Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Middletown, RI. - Shift: Mid/Night/Morning (Flexible)
- Pay: $18 - $21/Hour
- Duration: 13 Weeks (40 Hours /Weekly)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Provide support during meals and ensure patients’ nutritional needs are met.
- Engage with patients to promote emotional well-being and support mental health.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care plan discussions.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided thoroughly and accurately.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Rhode Island.
- Experience in patient care is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Skills in communication, empathy, and patient engagement.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain professionalism in a healthcare setting.
- Basic proficiency in utilizing healthcare documentation software is a plus.
