Job description

Position Details

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
- Measure and document vital signs, reporting changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Support patients during meals and help address their nutritional needs.
- Engage with patients and contribute to their emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in team meetings and care plan discussions.
- Accurately document patient interactions and care provided.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Rhode Island Nursing Assistant certification.
- Patient care experience preferred; not required.
- Strong communication, empathy, and patient engagement skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Ability to collaborate with a care team and remain professional in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with healthcare documentation software is a plus.
