Client Services Intern

About the role

Paylocity’s Client Services team supports clients after implementation throughout their relationship with Paylocity. The team aims to build client loyalty and retention by answering questions, solving problems, and meeting client needs in a timely and accurate manner.

This 12-week summer internship offers insight into a career in Client Services and hands-on experience that prepares interns for a potential full-time opportunity after graduation.

This role is based at the Meridian, United States location. Candidates must work on-site five days per week, from 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience through onboarding, mentorship, job shadowing, reverse shadowing, and exposure to real client interactions.
• Build business and industry knowledge through weekly learning activities, assignments, leadership conversations, and team experiences.
• Complete a meaningful project aligned with Client Services goals, develop recommendations, and present the work to managers and leaders.
• Develop professional skills through workshops, peer networking, mentorship, and the Intern Summit at Paylocity’s headquarters.
• Connect with leaders and peers across the organization and gain a broader understanding of how different teams work together.
• Present key learnings, project results, and recommendations at mid-point and final presentations.
