Construction ManagerA growing residential homebuilder is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee all phases of home construction from start through closing. This role is responsible for field operations, scheduling, quality control, budget adherence, vendor coordination, and maintaining strong communication with homebuyers throughout the build process
.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction oversight — Lead day‑to‑day site operations to ensure homes are delivered on time, within budget, and to established quality standardsTeam & vendor management — Direct subcontractors, consultants, and field staff; resolve performance issues; support vendor selection, bid review, and contract scope alignmentQuality & compliance — Conduct inspections, identify deficiencies, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirementsClient communication — Maintain ongoing communication with buyers, conduct framing and pre‑closing walkthroughs, and document all interactionsBudget & cost control — Manage purchase orders, monitor materials and service costs, and support cost‑mitigation strategiesReporting & systems — Maintain accurate project logs, update construction management software daily, and respond promptly to internal and external inquiries

Supervisory ScopeInterview, train, and oversee subcontractorsSet expectations, assign work, evaluate performance, and ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and operational standardsSupport workforce development and maintain productivity and morale.QualificationsStrong leadership, problem‑solving, communication, and project‑management abilitiesExtensive experience in framing and residential constructionAbility to interpret construction documents, engineering reports, and architectural plansProficiency with construction management software and Microsoft OfficeAssociate degree preferred; equivalent experience consideredMinimum five years of relevant construction experience
