About the role
Wanzek Construction, Inc., a MasTec Company, is hiring Construction Managers I and II to lead utility-scale solar projects. This role directs, plans, and manages on-site construction activities to help deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures. Project responsibilities vary by project and client.
The position involves travel across the US, with up to 100% travel and placement at a project site in any state throughout the US. Projects average 8–12 months.
Responsibilities
- Lead utility-scale solar projects in one or more disciplines: civil, mechanical, electrical, piles, or logistics.
- Direct, plan, and manage on-site construction activities.
- Help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Proven leadership in construction management.
- Expertise in one or more key disciplines: civil, mechanical, electrical, piles, or logistics.
