Construction Manager - Road Marking in Cape Town, South Africa

LODICAN is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Manager specializing in Road Marking to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa on a contract basis. Our company is a leading civil engineering firm focusing on high-quality road marking projects that improve road safety and usability. This role is key to ensuring successful project completion while maintaining strict safety compliance. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all phases of road marking construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to project specifications. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress against these benchmarks. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction lifecycle. Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to guarantee smooth project execution. Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to verify compliance and quality of work. Prepare detailed progress reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Implement efficient project management methodologies to optimize resources and maximize project outcomes. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven project management skills with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in road marking or civil construction management. Strong knowledge of safety compliance regulations is essential. Experience using project management software such as MS Project or Primavera. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative team environment. You will report directly to the Senior Project Director and collaborate closely with engineering teams and field personnel to deliver high-quality road marking projects.
