Construction Manager - Road Marking in Cape Town, South Africa

LODISCAN is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Manager specializing in Road Marking to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa on a contract basis. We are a leading civil engineering company focused on delivering high-quality road marking projects that improve road safety and usability. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and comply with all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of road marking construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to optimize project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments to maintain high standards.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Implement efficient project management methodologies to maximize resource utilization and project outcomes.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven project management skills with extensive experience in road marking or civil construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of safety compliance regulations is essential.
• Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction management, specifically within the road marking sector.

This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative team environment. You will report directly to the Senior Project Director and collaborate closely with engineering teams and field personnel to ensure project success.
