monika tiwari is seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our dynamic finance team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure financial integrity and reporting accuracy while managing essential accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting department, including daily bookkeeping and payroll processing to maintain accurate and timely financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses to provide insights into financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations to uphold financial integrity.
• Manage the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department leaders to align financial goals.
• Supervise bank statement reconciliations and prepare necessary adjustments to ensure all accounts are accurate.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits, assisting with document preparation and statements.
• Continuously improve finance department processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and payroll processing.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage, and advanced Excel skills.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.

As a key member of our focused finance team, you will collaborate closely with the executive team and other departments, reporting directly to senior management. This position is not eligible for remote work and is based in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
