Core Systems Administrator (Jack Henry)

About the role

The Core Systems Administrator serves as Milestone Bank's dedicated internal power user and subject matter expert for the Jack Henry core banking platform. During implementation, this role works alongside the implementation vendor and the Bank's assigned Project Manager to learn the system build, configuration logic, and data architecture. Following go-live, the role becomes the Bank's primary internal owner of the platform, responsible for configuring changes, maintaining data integrity, and building additional loan and deposit portfolios as the Bank grows.

Responsibilities

• Participate as an active, embedded team member throughout the Jack Henry implementation, working directly with the implementation vendor's consultants and the Bank's Project Manager.
• Learn and document the system build, including configuration decisions, workflows, product and portfolio setup, integrations, and data conversion logic.
• Attend and actively engage in implementation working sessions, unit, system, and user acceptance testing cycles, and conversion validation.
• Identify build questions, gaps, or risks from an end-user and future-administrator perspective and raise them to the Project Manager and vendor team.
• Support development of internal training materials, desk procedures, and configuration documentation.
• Following go-live, serve as the Bank's designated power user and primary point of internal expertise for the Jack Henry core system.
• Configure, build, and maintain additional loan and deposit portfolios as the Bank grows.
