About the role
Inspection during flotation cell maintenance
Tasks
- Visual inspection (VT) and mapping of UT thicknesses on grid
- Multi-eco measurement through epoxy coating
- Evaluation of insert and weld plate
- Observations of stator and sparger cage
Requirements
- UT Level 2 rating (ISO 9712, SNT-TC-1A or SAQCC NDT)
- Essential based in South Africa
- Experience in flotation cells or mining tanks
- Current training in confined spaces and work at height
- Own multi-eco UT equipment with current calibration
Schedule
- from 17 to 21 November 2026
- 1 day of doctor/induction + ~1 day per cell (3 cells, with possible additions)
