Country Commercial Manager – Fit-Out Contracting, Riyadh

TXM Manpower Solutions is hiring a Country Commercial Manager for fit-out contracting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site leadership role is suited to a senior commercial professional with extensive main contractor experience in high-end and luxury interior fit-out projects.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Country Commercial Manager will lead the commercial function across projects in the country or region. You will guide commercial strategy, governance, risk mitigation, and profitability while supporting alignment with client business objectives across hospitality, retail, and premium commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial activities across projects and teams.
• Manage contracts, commercial risk assessments, claims strategy, variations, and extensions of time (EOTs).
• Apply FIDIC contract expertise to protect project and business interests.
• Support commercial governance, project profitability, and effective stakeholder relationships.
• Work proactively with clients and internal teams to address commercial issues and achieve project objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 15–20 years of commercial management experience in fit-out contracting; consultancy experience alone does not meet this requirement.
• At least five years in a senior leadership position.
• Demonstrated delivery experience on high-end or luxury interior fit-out projects in hospitality, retail, or commercial sectors.
• Strong FIDIC contract knowledge and the ability to manage claims, variations, and EOTs independently.
• Education or professional experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• MRICS or an equivalent certification is preferred.
• GCC experience is required; KSA experience is preferred.
• Main contractor experience and a stable career history are required.
• Client-facing commercial experience is preferred.
• Fluent English is required. Candidates of all nationalities are welcome; Western candidates are preferred.
• A self-motivated, proactive leadership style and flexibility beyond a typical 9-to-5 schedule are expected.
