Rey is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Intern to support healthcare professional credentialing. This part-time contract opportunity offers remote eligibility and hands-on experience helping maintain accurate records, verify credentials, and support an efficient credentialing process. You will report to the Credentialing Manager and collaborate with a team focused on high standards and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with verifying healthcare professionals’ credentials and checking documentation for compliance with applicable requirements.
- Maintain accurate, organized records of credentialing applications and supporting documents.
- Contact healthcare providers to request information and clarify discrepancies.
- Use data management tools to track credentialing progress and keep databases current.
- Participate in team meetings and share ideas for improving processes.
- Help resolve credentialing and documentation issues efficiently.
- Support special projects that advance the credentialing process.
