Critical Facilities Technician

Five Nines Talent is conducting a confidential search for a national data center operator hiring Critical Facilities Technicians at its Plano campus. These are permanent, direct-hire positions on the operator's own team — multiple openings, no contract period.
The jobYou'll operate and maintain the systems a 24x7 data center runs on: electrical distribution and UPS, standby generators, HVAC, and building controls. The work is hands-on — preventive and corrective maintenance, system monitoring and rounds, work orders run through the CMMS, and every change executed under written MOP/SOP procedures. You'll also respond to facility emergencies as they happen. The team works under the site's Facility Manager.
Who this fits- High school diploma with 3–5 years in electrical or mechanical critical facilities work — or 7+ years as an HVAC, mechanical, or electrical technician- Electrical or mechanical certifications preferred; solid computer skills (MS Office)- Able to work 12-hour shifts across days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with overtime- Mission-critical military backgrounds are a strong match: Navy Nuclear, Army Prime Power, Air Force Power Production and civil engineering
