Customer Service Data Entry Specialist – California City, CA

RKI Instruments is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Data Entry Specialist to support customer service operations. RKI Instruments provides gas detection and monitoring systems for industries including oil and gas, construction, and environmental safety. This is a full-time, remote-eligible role based in California City, California.

Role Overview

In this role, you will enter and maintain customer and order information, help process inquiries and requests, and coordinate with customer service representatives to resolve data issues. Accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and update customer information and orders in company databases.
• Complete data entry accurately and within required timelines.
• Work with customer service representatives to resolve data discrepancies.
• Communicate professionally with customers about orders and inquiries.
• Protect confidential customer information.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and systems.
• Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous data entry and customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with gas detection or related industries is a plus.

Pay: $35 per hour
