Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze security alerts to detect and respond promptly to threats and incidents, minimizing potential damage. Implement and maintain advanced firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions to strengthen network defenses. Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks proactively. Develop and enforce robust security policies, standards, and best practices aligned with industry frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001. Educate employees through cybersecurity awareness training programs to foster a security-conscious culture across the organization. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA, to maintain legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with IT and management teams to design and implement security improvements based on threat intelligence and risk analysis. Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports to support continuous improvement and audit readiness. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Proven experience with network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security technologies. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and threat intelligence platforms. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH. Experience in incident response and forensic analysis. Strong communication skills to effectively train and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends and threats.
