Data Engineer

OverviewThis role sits within Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology, supporting compliance and surveillance data platforms. The focus is data engineering and ETL development, not hands-on backend application development. The ideal candidate understands how data contracts are structured across systems and can help automate data quality controls.
Core RequirementsStrong ETL development background: SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and/or TableauSQL Server, stored procedures, views, functions, performance tuningAutosys scheduling and job orchestration experienceComfortable working across multiple programming/scripting languages, not Java-specific depthGeneral awareness of Java is enough, deep Java development experience is not requiredExperience understanding and mapping how data contracts are set up across enterprise systemsInterest or experience in automating data quality controlsNice to HavePrior banking or financial services experienceOracle or other RDBMS exposure alongside SQL ServerExperience with production support, incident management, and change management processesWhat This Role Is NOTNot a senior/lead-level hands-on Java developer roleNot a data science role, no ML/statistical modeling expectedNot primarily backend application development
