Job description
Individual is seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely from India, Pakistan, or Nigeria. This role involves leading and executing high-impact data infrastructure projects focused on designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines for reliable data delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting analytics and reporting.
- Implement efficient ETL processes using SnowFlake and Databricks for data transformation.
- Optimize data models and query performance to improve accessibility and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance and availability issues proactively.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with best practices in data handling.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, providing technical expertise and guidance.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in English (B2, C1, C2) with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proven experience with data engineering frameworks and tools, especially SnowFlake and Databricks.
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience building and optimizing data lakes and data warehouses.
- Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Compensation: $2,500 per year, commensurate with experience.
