Demand Planner

About The Job

As a Demand Planner at Danone North America, you will play a critical role in driving forecast accuracy and ensuring alignment between commercial and supply chain teams. You will lead the demand planning process for a portfolio of products, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver and animate reliable forecasts that support business objectives and put a Danone in Every Hand and Every Heart.

Job Responsibilities

Supports the end-to-end trend process across the entire Business UnitIncorporates consumption, fill rate & customer inventory positions into trend conversationsLeverage advance analytics & machine learning to generate short-term forecasts (12 weeks)Works directly with the forecast analysts to improve statistical & ml demand precision & responsivenessFosters strong relationships within operations to integrate relevant data and drivers to the long-term forecastActs as the main point of contact for the supply plannersPresents KPIs, including forecast accuracy, bias and wasteWorks with category commercial partners to support special cases such as allocation/prioritization and innovationManages New Product Lifecycle entry into Planning System (o9)

Job Qualifications

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP APO, Excel, o9, Circana). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Good conflict resolution and interpersonal skillsGood verbal and written communication skills

The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 – $117,000.00 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. About You

Experience and Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field; Master’s preferred. 3+ years of experience in demand planning, or forecasting, preferably in the CPG or food & beverage industryExperience with S&OP processes and cross-functional collaboration. APICS/IBF certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CPF) is a plus.
