Deputy Chief Networking Officer - Philadelphia, PA

Value Innovation Labs is seeking an experienced Deputy Chief Networking Officer (D-CIO) with 12+ years in networking technologies to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This hybrid role requires 2 days onsite and 3 days remote work. US Citizens only; local candidates preferred.

About the Role

As the Deputy CIO of Networking, you will manage the planning, implementation, and maintenance of network systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with the CIO to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals, ensuring all networking operations support these objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CIO to develop and implement networking strategies aligned with the IT roadmap.
• Network Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPNs, and cloud-based networking solutions.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging networking technologies to enhance performance, scalability, and security.
• Network Operations: Ensure continuous network availability, troubleshoot issues, and oversee network expansions and upgrades.
• Executive Search Support: Develop recruitment strategies, identify and assess candidates, and support negotiation phases with the City of Philadelphia's Office of Innovation and Technology Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of extensive experience in networking technologies and architecture.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Deep understanding of emerging network trends and security best practices.
• Experience working in hybrid environments.
• US Citizenship required; local candidates preferred.
