Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician

About the role

We service farm equipment, combines, tracked vehicles, semi-trucks, trailers, and outdoor power equipment.

Tasks

• Diagnose & repair using test equipment & computerized systems
• Service engines, hydraulics, electrical, exhaust & transmissions
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Communicate with customers & maintain service records
• Order parts & maintain inventory

Requirements

• Diesel engine repair experience (certification preferred)
• Knowledge of farm equipment
• Strong troubleshooting & communication skills
• Valid driver’s license (CDL helpful)
• Welding & parts-lookup experience are pluses
• Frequent lifting up to 70 lbs and active movement throughout the workday.

Pay

• $25-$32/hr DOQ
