Job description
About the role
GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven civil engineering leader to help expand its civil engineering practice across the region. The role combines technical expertise, client engagement and strategic growth initiatives. You will lead multidisciplinary infrastructure projects for residential, commercial, industrial, municipal and institutional developments, including master-planned communities and public infrastructure improvements.
A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales and client relationships for existing and new strategic clients.
- Support GAI Consultants, Inc.’s multidisciplinary efforts in the greater Ohio River Valley Region with other leadership.
- Work with technical and proposal staff on cost proposals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs).
- Work with project managers on plans for deliverables, budgets and schedules, with a focus on client satisfaction and profitability.
- Negotiate or assist with negotiating contracts.
- Assist with annual strategic and tactical planning for the market and company.
- Contribute to GAI Consultants, Inc.’s public profile through leadership roles in the community or professional organizations.
- Support plan preparation, scope compliance and task scheduling.
- Review and approve submissions for local agencies, including cities, counties and authorities.
- Prepare weekly backlog updates.
