Director of Social Services

LEAD WITH IMPACT
The Director of Social Services is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic oversight of all social service operations within the housing. This role ensures the delivery of a high-quality, client-centered, and trauma-informed services. The Director supports residents in achieving stability, independence, and successful housing outcomes. The successful hires accomplishes with all applicable site, state, and agency requirements, including DHS, OTDA, and HRA. Requires maintaining, relationships and documentation, advocacy, and meeting required audits, and performance standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead and supervise the Social Services team
Provide supportive counseling and case oversight
Develop and maintain partnerships and resources for clients
Ensure compliance with DHS/HRA requirements
Oversee admissions, discharges and reporting
Provide program quality, training, and innovation
Participate in case conferences and team meetings
Maintain accurate records and data reporting

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required
LCSW or LMSW preferred
2-4 years of DHS case management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficient in written and oral English
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and database programs
