Electrical Engineer II

About the role

Ultra Maritime’s Electrical Engineering team supports the development and production of anti-submarine warfare (ASW) technology, including sonobuoy products and ASW receiver systems for the U.S. Navy and other navies around the world.

Reporting to the manager of Electrical Engineering, you will support sonobuoy production engineering needs within an integrated product support team and support design engineering as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve and document concurrence and resolve issues during production testing and integration.
• Conduct studies, risk assessments, and reviews to ensure compliance with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.
• Generate engineering change documentation, including customer-facing documents for hardware changes to current production products.
• Support transition-to-production activities for programs completing development.
