Electrical Engineer – Product Sustaining/Technical Steward

Tasks

• Support End-of-Life (EOL) component replacements and engineering changes to maintain uninterrupted production.
• Evaluate component changes using objective evidence to ensure compliance with product specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Support PCB assembly design, testing, verification, and release into production.
• Lead or support continuous improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Participate in design reviews for technology transfer and R&D projects.
• Provide technical support for existing products and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, Production, Technical Service, and Quality Assurance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of directly related engineering experience.
• Understanding of circuit analysis, electromechanical design, and tolerance analysis.
• Experience in Verification & Validation (V&V).
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance.
• Preferred: Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Preferred: Knowledge of risk analysis, continuous improvement, and engineering change management.
• Preferred: Experience supporting PCB assemblies and component lifecycle management.
