Job description
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
Duties include operating and maintaining equipment such as excavators, backhoes, skid-steers, vac-trucks, street sweepers, boom mowers, rollers, and a variety of power and hand tools.
$4,651–$6,119 PER MONTH

Minimum qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of verifiable, hands-on experience operating and maintaining relevant construction machinery and equipment
- Proven safety record
- Valid Oregon Class C driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one by appointment
- Ability to obtain the required CDL, certifications, and endorsements within timelines established by the City
One year of public works or related experience is highly desirable.
