Discount Locksmith LLC , an Idaho LLC, is seeking an Experienced Locksmith to join our Boise, Idaho team on a contract basis. This role is perfect for skilled locksmiths passionate about enhancing community safety through expert lock and key services. Key Responsibilities Install and repair locks for residential, commercial, and automotive clients with precision. Perform key cutting and duplication services ensuring accuracy. Respond promptly and professionally to emergency lockout situations. Diagnose lock problems and provide effective, timely solutions. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and educating clients on lock maintenance and security options. Maintain detailed records of work orders and inventory of lock materials. Collaborate on large projects and assist in training junior locksmiths and apprentices. Required and Preferred Qualifications Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle. Minimum of 2 years proven locksmith experience, including key cutting, lock repair, and installation. Strong technical knowledge of various locks and security systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Own locksmith tools or ability to acquire necessary tools. Experience with locksmithing tools and relevant software. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with pay per job. Join a collaborative team with expert support and direct reporting to Operations management.
