Experienced Locksmith Contract Job in Boise, Idaho

We are seeking an experienced Locksmith to join our team on a contract basis in Boise, Idaho. As a locksmith, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and safety of our clients by providing top-notch services. Key Responsibilities

• Perform lock installations and repairs for residential, commercial, and automotive clients.
• Conduct key cutting services and duplication ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot lock issues, providing effective solutions.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and educating them on lock maintenance and security options.
• Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including work orders and inventory of lock materials.
• Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects and assist in training junior locksmiths and apprentices.

Required and preferred qualifications

• A valid drivers license.
• Proven experience in locksmithing, with a strong skill set in key cutting, lock repair, and installation.
• Excellent customer service skills, fostering a positive client relationship.
• Technical skills with a deep understanding of various types of locks and security systems.
• Own your own reliable vehicle.
• Experience with relevant locksmithing tools and software.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven locksmithing experience.
• Have your own tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per job.
