External Auditor Consultant (FISMA/SOX)

About the role

TechAGI Solutions is seeking experienced External Auditor Consultants specializing in FISMA, SOX, IT Auditing, and Compliance to support IT audit assessments, regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal control evaluations.

Tasks

• Conduct IT audits and compliance assessments aligned with FISMA and SOX requirements.
• Evaluate IT general controls (ITGCs), internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Review IT policies, procedures, systems, and supporting documentation.
• Identify control gaps, compliance risks, and opportunities for remediation.
• Perform audit testing, evidence collection, and documentation of findings.
• Prepare audit reports, recommendations, and remediation plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Support audit readiness and follow-up activities to validate corrective actions.

Requirements

• Experience in IT auditing, external auditing, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of FISMA and SOX requirements.
• Experience evaluating IT general controls (ITGCs) and internal controls.
• Knowledge of risk assessments, control testing, and audit documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Washington, DC.
• USC with PT Eligibility

Schedule

• Hybrid – Minimum 6 days per month onsite
